So I was genuinely diagnosed with ADHD as a child. I've had it my whole life. Um, I never let it affect me because I was raised to not let it affect me. Like my parents were just like, you know, shut the fuck up, like you're fine, like whatever. And so I was like raised to basically just mask. Um, but to say that it's a choice, I just think it's like dumb. It's literally a disorder. It's not something that can necessarily be fully helped. You know, obviously you can ignore it, but.

Also, trust me, I've tried to not let it affect me and to disbelieve I didn't even have it. Trust me, I've tried. It's not that simple. It's not a choice. It's a mental thing. You genuinely struggle in certain things that others don't struggle in. I literally had learning disabilities because of my ADHD. I never told people I even had it because I was ashamed.
